Malnutrition remains a serious public health problem like in many countries . It mainly affects children, and is one of the causes of infant mortality. In CAR, the latest SMART 2014 survey showed chronic malnutrition rate (40.8%) , above the emergency threshold. GAM 6.6% and 20.3% underweight failure. Similarly, micronutrient deficiencies remain problematic in children under 5 and pregnant women . Among children under 6 months, only 28.8% were exclusively breastfed in CAR.
